Savannah is an attractive new choir soloist and is the daughter of a respected church elder. And last but not least is Charlene’s good friend Sister Lisa Mae Johnson, widow of Pastor Lee Jones. Which one of these women will become the new First Lady?

The First Lady was an enjoyable novel by Carl Weber. Weber once again brought readers a great story with his signature dose of healthy drama. This novel gives the reader an insider’s view on all of the backstabbing and scheming that can go on when church women compete for a newly single pastor’s affection. You will be shocked at just how low some of these women go to be the first lady. Readers will be pleasantly surprised at which woman actually takes Charlene’s place as the First Lady of Jamaica Ministries. The First Lady is another widely entertaining novel by Carl Weber.

Justine’s decision becomes even harder when her old flame Dalton rolls into town and stirs up some old feelings. Should Justine stay by her husband’s side or follow her heart?

In Another Man’s Bed is a seductive page-turner by Francis Ray. Ray eloquently pens a novel about hope and rediscovering a long-lost love. This author masterfully touched the very heart wrenching decision of whether to stand by a comatose loved one and hope that they eventually wake up or to just pull the plug. Readers will feel the emotional turmoil of Justine as she has to look deep inside of herself to make the right choice. This book would not be complete without the inclusion of some steamy romance that will surely delight this author’s legion of romance and mainstream fans. In Another Man’s Bed is full of passion and touching emotion. Francis Ray once again gives readers a novel that doesn’t disappoint.

Although this novel is a part of an ongoing series, this book does stand on its own and will not confuse the reader. This author did a good job of creating a good mix of drama, sex, and even attempted murder into this novel. Naughty By Nature is saucy and entertaining. It’s the perfect lead in to the sequel Too Naughty.

You will feel the uncertainty of Ariel as she wrestles with the idea of stepping outside of her relationship to find sexual fulfillment. Readers will be drawn into this novel from the first page of the prologue. This author does such a wonderful job of painting a seductive picture of The Black Door that you’ll be left wondering if this is indeed a real place. This novel wouldn’t be complete without an exciting cliffhanger that will have you begging for more. The Black Door is sexy and mysterious. This book is the perfect treat for any erotica lover and an explosive start to Velvet’s career.

Will Fiona open her heart to love or will she just let Nick walk away?

The Nick of Time is a superbly entertaining novel by San Culberson. Culberson brought an interesting twist to the story of a newly divorced woman. From the very first page, readers will know that this is not your typical “man meets woman” type novel. You’ll see the transformation of Fiona as a woman who won’t let the possibility of love enter her mind become a woman who may be willing to give love a try. There’s a good blend of drama, sensuality, and amusing dialogue that makes this a delightful read. The Nick of Time is witty and uproariously humorous. Hopefully, we will have the pleasure of reading more from San Culberson in the future.

The Millionaire Mistress is an excellent debut novel by Tiphani Montgomery. Montgomery penned a wonderful coming-of-age story about love, jealousy, betrayal, and dark family secrets. Readers will see the transformation in Oshyn as she picks up the pieces after a destructive relationship and becomes a successful woman. You will also see just how evil Chloe really is. This author added just the right touch of mystery and scandal that made this novel a true page-turner. The Millionaire Mistress is dramatic and exciting. With this novel, Tiphani Montgomery is ready to take the fiction world by storm.

This novel will grab your attention from the very first page and won’t let you go until the very end. The way this author incorporated the real issue of police corruption into this story was amazing. The non-stop action sequences are so visual that it reads like a movie. There’s even a shocking twist that will surely have readers anticipating a sequel. The Trifling Times of Nathan Jones is action-packed and exciting. Moses Miller has unquestionably brought something new to the urban fiction genre.

Readers will love the camaraderie of Hannah and her best friends that are there to support her every step of the way. You’ll love the way this author creatively incorporated such timely issues as weight, self-esteem, and even men on “the down low”. There are also a few sexy and romantic scenes in this story that will keep you on your toes. Confessions of a Rookie Cheerleader is a novel with a marvelously unique storyline that is both enjoyable and exciting. This is the perfect start to Erika J. Kendrick’s writing career.
