Urban Reviews - Advertising
Guidelines
Thank you for your interest
in advertising on Urban-Reviews.com. Here are our basic
guidelines.
1. We can feature
either a BANNER AD (460x60 to 700x100), a 100x150 graphic of the
BOOK COVER, or a 150x150 graphic of an ALBUM COVER on our site
(graphic sizes are in pixels). You may provide the banner
or graphic that will be used, or we can create it and forward it
to you for your approval before displaying on the site.
Flash banner advertisement provided by you is acceptable.
2. Absolutely no
other form of advertisement will be used. Email Blasts,
Pop-Ups, etc are not something we want to do on the
Urban-Reviews.com website at the present time. But you can
have a graphic made or submitted that will link to a full-page
advertisement on the Internet.
3. You must email
your request to
adspace@urban-reviews.com
. We will review your request and email you back a
response on whether your ad will be accepted for display on our
website. Do NOT send money before your ad is
approved. Your ad statement will be e-mailed to you
detailing the total cost and specific dates of your ad
campaign.
4. Here are the
advertising rates:
-Banner Advertisements:
$50 per month or $125 for 3 months
5. Monthly ad campaigns
will run for one calendar month (i.e. April 1st-30th or April
15th-May 14th).
6. Only Money Orders or
Paypal payments (now including major credit cards through
Paypal!) will be accepted. If paying by Money Order,
please allow for a full week so that the payment can reach us
before the start date for your ad. An extra $5 rush fee is
charged if you want it up next day
(paypal only of course)
and you must submit your own graphic with any rush order.
The Paypal address will be given upon approval. Absolutely
no checks, cash, or any other form of payment will be accepted.
7. Placement for Banner Ads
will be featured toward the top of the appropriate pages.
Placement for a book cover or CD cover will be on the far left
side. The ads will be featured on every page we display
advertising (currently over 12 main pages of the site).
Your Banner and Cover Advertisement will also be included in our
Monthly Email Newsletter free of charge for each paid month.
Flash banner ads will not be included in any monthly email
newsletter. An alternate banner can be used in the email
newsletter if submitted to us in time.
8. If your book or
cd is not already featured on the corresponding Recent Releases
or Upcoming Releases page, we will be more than happy to include
it with the author/artist name, title, and release date FREE OF
CHARGE on that page. We link the graphics on our New
Release pages to Amazon.com using our referral id for direct
ordering.
Please include the
following information with your advertisement request:

Your Name
- Desired Form of Payment
(Money Order or Paypal)
- Exact Dates of when you
would like the ad(s) to run if accepted
- Name of the book(s),
album(s), or website that you would like to feature
- Link to the page that the
ad will be directed to (an Amazon.com link with your referral
code is acceptable)
- Whether you'll be
submitting a graphic or if you would like us to create a basic
graphic for you.
We are open to any
questions/suggestions that are not explained in these
guidelines. We do ALL correspondence via email.
